Adecco are recruiting an experienced print room technician for a key multi-national corporate client within the Print industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Printing offering high-quality customer service however full training will be given

Located at Kidderminster hospital.

Hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm (30 mins lunch) Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

· Using appropriate resources to design, print and finish job orders

· Maintaining excellent customer and supplier relationships

· Operating high specification print, copy and finishing equipment

· Handling quotations and liaising with the customer and suppliers

· Handling invoice queries

· Ensuring quality and consistency of work outputs

· Driving efficiency saving by best use of resources and minimising waste

· Performing monthly stock take duties and maintaining accurate asset logs using appropriate recording methods

· Performing monthly device meter reading duties

· Responding to requests for urgent and/or emergency jobs by interrupting normal workflow to prioritise as necessary

· Liaising with Xerox Helpdesks and Engineers

· Recording all job processing data on the relevant system on a daily basis including the monitoring movement of goods in and out of the department

· Assisting new staff by showing them the correct working practices and ensuring they are confident to carry out these new practices

· Cleaning and performing basic maintenance on print equipment

· Supporting the maintenance of fleet copier devices to ensure minimal downtime

· Promptly re-ordering any stationery or supplies as required to complete role

· Completing all mandatory training as required by role, including ( but not limited to) Xerox Business Ethics and Information Security training

· Completing any mandated NHS/Trust training as necessary

· Complying with the Xerox-Worcs Standards and Objectives Overview Policy

· Providing absence cover where required for other members of staff within the Department.

· Carrying out any other duties that fall within the grade for this job and complying with any reasonable request from the Management Team

BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Computer literate

· Flexibility with regard to working hours during periods of high demand

· Proven ability to work under pressure handling multiple tasks to ensure timely completion of all activities

· Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions and good attention to detail

· Ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet contractual timeliness requirements

· Ability to undertake training to become competent to support all operational activities within the team

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

· Sound judgment to identify and report problems and contribute to resolution

· Health & safety awareness and compliance

· Sound understanding of Data Protection Act / General Data Protection Regulations requirements
