Windows 11 Application Packager - Outside IR35 - SC Cleared

The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging, testing, and deploying applications to Windows 11 endpoints while ensuring compliance with security and compatibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package and deploy applications for Windows 11 using MSI, App-V, and other modern packaging technologies.
  • Develop and maintain SCCM/MECM task sequences for application deployment.
  • Conduct compatibility testing to ensure seamless integration with Windows 11.
  • Work closely with IT and security teams to meet compliance and security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application packaging and deployment issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all packaging and deployment processes.
  • Support OS and application migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to users.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in application packaging forWindows 11environments.
  • Strong knowledge ofMSI, App-V, and PowerShell scriptingfor automation.
  • Experience usingMicrosoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM).
  • Familiarity withActive Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), and Intune.
  • Understanding ofcybersecurity principles and compliancewithin a secure environment.
  • Experience with software compatibility testing and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work within a structured change management environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience withMicrosoft Azure, Intune, and Autopilot.
  • Knowledge ofWindows 11 deployment and migration strategies.
  • Experience working within MOD/DSTL or other secure government environments.
  • Familiarity withvirtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix).
  • IT certifications such asMicrosoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
