The Opportunity:

Our Technical Assurance Services team in the UK is growing - we are looking to speak with innovative technicalSecurity Consultants/Penetration Testers/Ethical hackers.

We're especially interested in those who hold CSTM and/or CSTL certifications, or those aspiring to work in a CHECK environment. If you're eager to grow your career in this space, we'd love to hear from you!

For this particular role candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain SC (Security Check) clearance. This requires applicants to have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of five years, with no significant gaps, and to undergo background checks in line with government security vetting procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

As a Security Consultant, you will be involved with on-site client visits and remote engagements, in order to complete technical security assessment/engagements and mitigate risk for our esteemed clients. This includes:

  1. Delivering technical tasks solo or in a team
  2. Delivering high quality technical solutions to clients
  3. Assist in the identification, resolution and documentation of security incidents.
  4. Provide guidance and mentoring to adjacent teams and team members.


Desirable Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and expertise on data networks and associated protocols. If paired with knowledge about telecoms, control networks, and types and/or industries even better.
  • Mobile security knowledge and experience (OS, RF and App)
  • Programming/scripting abilities. If you are or have been a software developer is a plus.
  • Applied security research - if you have CVE's, been on hall-of-fame boards, and similar is a plus.
  • Applied cryptography, mathematics or computer science experience.
  • Threat modelling - software/applications, infrastructure/platforms, systems, etc.
  • Source code review of any type - hardware, software, middleware, etc.
  • Reverse engineering
  • Fuzzing
  • Cloud (AWS / Azure/etc) security, offensive is great but if it is defensive is good.
