📍 Based in Harrow (Head Office) + London Sites
🏗️ Tier 1 Main Contractor

An established and respected main contractor operating across London and the South East is looking for a Project Manager to join their team, working from their Harrow-based head office with regular involvement on central London sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in pre-construction and a passion for delivering complex, high-profile projects.

Role Overview

You will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase, acting as the key interface between the commercial, design, and delivery teams. Your expertise will shape the programme, logistics, and strategy before site mobilisation and into early project execution.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the planning and development of new projects from tender stage to site start.

Coordinate with internal teams including design, estimating, planning, and procurement.

*

Identify buildability risks and opportunities early in the process.

*

Manage pre-start client and consultant communication.

*

Support the site team in transitioning the project into construction phase.

Candidate Requirements

*

Demonstrable experience in pre-construction project management within the UK construction sector.

*

Strong knowledge of frame construction (RC or steel).

*

Experience with cut and carve or complex refurbishment projects is highly beneficial.

*

Ability to work both from head office in Harrow and across central London sites.

*

Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
