A day in the life of a Murphy D365 Project Manager

Engage with key business stakeholders (process owners) to gain an understanding of relevant business processes and identify current pain points / opportunities for improvemen
Translate business requirements, working with the key stakeholders and 3rd parties, to technical deliverables to achieve the business goals and objectives.
Manage and co-ordinate tasks and activities through our partners, e.g. Annata / Panamoure, to deliver project tasks and BAU support activities.
Develop key metrics and reports in partnership with our 3rd parties to give visibility to IT and key stakeholders in our performance and forecast capacity including delivery roadmaps
Keep up to date with the D365 Finance & Operations product capabilities, its features and planned changes in the Microsoft Roadmap, looking for opportunities to assist in improving functionality or efficiency of the finance functions
Plan and own the release process for D365 to best support the business priorities, balancing stability, risk, benefit and cost
Manage the D365 Environments ensuring development and support capability is available within the correct cost parameters
Manage unit testing and ensure the provision of support for full user acceptance testing for system upgrades, fix deployments and enhancements
Schedules and agrees operational releases for D365 working with key operational stakeholders
Manage the wider finance systems (i.e. Syrinx) through the outsourced support teams and vendors ensuring responsive support and
Implement information security best practices business-wide in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company data, systems and infrastructure.
Responsible for ensuring appropriate documentation is produced and maintained to support the ongoing service and maintenance around D365, ensuring agreed Murphy best practices and standards are followed.
Manage ITIL processes, including major incident management, to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365) management support experience is essential
Demonstrable experience in effectively supporting finance teams and the ability to articulate the service demands and proposed solutions
Experienced with Financial Systems, including business requirements analysis and the use of an IT Service Management tools
Application Management (Enterprise scale D365 Solution) experience including supplier management    
Construction Industry experience working in Finance Systems
Management understanding of D365 Finance & Operations, its implementation, configuration and usage.    
Experience in LCS and Dev/Ops for D365    
Capable of completing work to deadline  Supplier and team management, specifically managing off-shore teams
