We are seeking a Principal Cyber Security Consultant with extensive experience in delivering complex cyber security programmes across the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sector. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering impactful solutions for public sector clients, while driving business growth and innovation.

About the Role

As a Principal Cyber Security Consultant, you will lead the delivery of high-impact cyber security engagements, build strong client relationships, and support the development of new business opportunities. You will operate at both strategic and delivery levels, helping clients align cyber initiatives with broader organisational goals. This is a highly autonomous role, ideal for a self-starter with a passion for securing the UK's critical systems.


About You

  • Proven experience delivering major cyber security or digital transformation programmes within CNI, ideally in energy generation, utilities, or other regulated sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments, including DCS, SCADA, and ICS, with alignment to NCSC CAF, IEC 62443, and NIST 800-82.
  • Experience supporting Ofgem regulatory compliance, including ISSA returns and NIS Regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex programmes, manage multidisciplinary teams, and engage with technical, business, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining senior-level relationships (CIO, CTO, COO, CISO).
  • Ability to produce compelling consultancy propositions and thought leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of information security legislation, emerging threats, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to build and develop high-performing teams.
