We're looking for aJunior Product Cybersecurity Analystto join our IoT Security team atBSI. In this hands-on role, you’ll assess the security of connected products from firmware to communication interfaces ensuring they meet the highest standards for global compliance and resilience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills inhardware security,embedded systems, andpenetration testing, while learning from industry experts and working on real-world cybersecurity challenges that matter.

What You’ll Do

Conduct security testing on IoT product samples, ensuring compliance with key industry standards. Support senior analysts with in-depth technical testing, debugging, and threat evaluation. Collaborate with certification and compliance teams to resolve security issues found during evaluation. Contribute to the development and automation of testing methodologies to keep pace with evolving regulations. Prepare and deliver clear, accurate technical test reports for clients. Help maintain the security lab environment, tooling, and test infrastructure. Work directly with clients during the testing and certification journey.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

1+ year of experience in hardware cybersecurity testing (IoT devices). Good foundation in networking and programming (e.g., Python, C, Java). Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32), and RTOS. Understanding of debugging interfaces (UART, JTAG, SPI, I2C). Basic knowledge of wireless protocols: Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Cellular, LoRa WAN. Exposure to tools like Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

Desirable:

Familiarity with standards such asETSI EN 303 645,IEC 62443,OWASP IoT Top 10, etc. Hands-on Linux experience. Awareness of the product lifecycle and how security affects provisioning, manufacturing, and updates. CREST CPSA or willingness to pursue certification.
