We're working with a local authority in the South West, looking for an experienced and strategic leader to take on the role of Head of Strategic Asset Management.
This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to someone with a strong background in property or housing, and a track record of driving performance and leading cultural and service transformation.

What You'll Bring:
Proven experience leading asset-related teams across large, multi-disciplinary environments – ideally within housing or public sector.
Demonstrable success in performance and outcome management.
Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and motivate teams.
Confident problem-solver with negotiation and dispute resolution experience.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement – internal and external – at all levels.
Working knowledge of Building Safety Act and Fire Safety legislation is highly beneficial.
Professional credentials such as CIH, RICS, CIOB, ARLA, or IAM preferred.You’ll Be Responsible For:
Leading the Strategic Asset Management, Building Safety, and Energy/Renewables functions.
Overseeing delivery of the Asset Management Strategy and ensuring legal compliance.
Contributing to the development of the 30-year HRA business plan.
Working with senior leadership and elected members to drive transformation.
