Reports to: Head of FS Sales / Regional Sales Director
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Sector: Cybersecurity Consulting

Overview:

Our client is seeking a dynamic, senior-level Sales Consultant to join a high-performing commercial team, with a dedicated focus on expanding revenue within large-scale Financial Services (FS) accounts. This is a strategic overlay role — ideal for a consultative sales professional with strong domain knowledge in cybersecurity, the FS sector, and experience influencing C-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a go-to-market plan to grow cybersecurity consultancy revenue across assigned FS accounts (including banking, insurance, asset management).

Identify, scope, and position solutions across a broad cybersecurity portfolio — including risk advisory, threat intelligence, application security, and incident response.

*

Build strong relationships with CISOs, Heads of Risk, Procurement, and Technology leaders to embed our client as a trusted strategic partner.

*

Act as a subject matter overlay on key accounts: shaping complex deals in collaboration with technical consultants and delivery teams.

*

Drive pipeline growth through account-based marketing, proactive outreach, and expansion of existing client relationships.

*

Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting

Ideal Candidate Profile:

*

7+ years’ experience in enterprise-level B2B cybersecurity or consultancy sales.

*

Proven success in developing new business within major financial institutions.

*

Strong understanding of regulatory and cyber risk drivers in FS (e.g. DORA, ISO 27001, FCA guidance, resilience frameworks).

*

Strategic thinker with ability to shape value propositions and sell across the CISO agenda.

*

Comfortable navigating matrixed organisations and influencing internal and client-side stakeholders.

*

Existing relationships across Tier 1 banks or global FS organisations

Desirable Qualifications:

*

Background with firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, NCC Group, PwC, KPMG, or cyber solution vendors.

*

Knowledge of consulting services and managed security solutions.

*

Experience with frameworks like NIST, ISO, DORA, or MITRE ATT&CK.

Why Join ?

*

Join a globally respected cyber consultancy with a proven track record of impact in FS.

*

Access a leading portfolio of services and experts across penetration testing, red teaming, managed detection and more.

*

Shape high-value engagements that truly help FS clients strengthen resilience.

*

Competitive compensation, commission structure, and flexible working culture
