Job Opportunity: Head of IT - Manchester (End User) | D365FO Experience Essential

Are you an experienced IT leader with a strong background in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO)? An established end-user organisation based in Manchester is seeking a Head of IT to lead their technology strategy and delivery.

As Head of IT, you will take ownership of the entire IT function, driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring the smooth operation of business-critical systems. A key focus will be leveraging your expertise in D365 Finance & Operations to optimise ERP performance and support business growth.

You will lead a team of IT professionals, manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders, and align technology with the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with business goals.

Lead the management, optimisation, and support of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and support services.

Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective delivery of IT projects.

Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security, and governance.

Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvements.

What You'll Need

Proven leadership experience managing IT teams in a mid to large-sized end-user environment.

Strong hands-on knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP system.

Experience leading ERP implementations, upgrades, or optimisations.

Excellent strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.

Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity best practices.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
