Business Development Manager - SOC Services

An experienced IT Sales professional is being recruited to help provide the engine for continued growth and lead the charge in promoting cyber security solutions. You will be joining at the very best possible time, as the business works to provide every available opportunity to ensure your success. Our client has recently appointed a new Security Director and invested in the latest tools and technologies to enhance SOC offerings.

The business is a well-regarded, IT Service Provider and are winning new business via word-of mouth - the team are highly capable and are providing some of the most cutting-edge IT solutions.

You'll be primarily responsible for securing profitable new-name business, with a focus on selling comprehensive SOC services to enterprise businesses. You'll work closely with decision-makers in large organisations to understand their security needs and offer tailored SOC solutions that provide real-time threat monitoring, incident response, and advanced security analytics as well as selling IT services and solutions from a broad portfolio of Microsoft services. With the support of their newly appointed Security Director and robust service offerings, you'll have everything you need to succeed in this role.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Strong knowledge of Security Operations Centre (SOC) offerings
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales of cyber security solutions, including threat detection, risk management, endpoint security, and managed security services (MDR, XDR, PAM, EDR, ETD, SIEM, SOCaaS and DLP services)
Experienced in selling Managed Services, M365/Azure services.
An understanding of the IT sales lifecycle from customer reviews through to delivery and support.
Experience selling into multiple verticals, although experience selling into Professional Services would be highly desirable.
A proven ability to identify sales opportunities and progress through to close
Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
An understanding of sales strategy, target setting and forecasting
A commitment to customer service excellence
Must be a proactive self-starter with ambition, who is happy with lead generation.Hybrid - London.
