Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: M44, Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: Long-term

Reeson Education is seeking a nurturing, proactive Teaching Assistant to support a lovely EYFS class in a welcoming primary school in the M44 area. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is set to begin in September and offers the chance to make a lasting impact in the early years.

The school is preparing to welcome five new pupils in September, many of whom present with undiagnosed special educational needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with these children - providing 1:1 support, delivering small group interventions, and helping to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or a Level 3-qualified EYFS specialist looking for a fresh, rewarding opportunity - this role will allow you to thrive in a creative, play-based setting where early support makes all the difference.

Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality EYFS support as a Teaching Assistant
Work 1:1 with pupils with undiagnosed SEN to meet their individual needs
Deliver group sessions and classroom interventions as a Teaching Assistant
Support the class teacher with phonics, early maths, and communication work
Use playful, sensory-based approaches to engage learners in meaningful activity
Help pupils develop independence, emotional regulation, and routine
Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals
Promote inclusion and consistency as a Teaching Assistant
Assist with classroom transitions, behaviour, and pupil engagement
Contribute to a caring, child-centred team as a committed Teaching AssistantTeaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:

EYFS experience or a strong interest in early years support
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred
Experience with SEN, particularly undiagnosed or complex profiles
A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach to support
Strong communication and teamwork skills
DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Full-time availability from September
