To maintain and enhance the strong relationships with our esteemed blue-chip clients, focusing on the maintenance and servicing of their CCTV and Access Control systems. Occasionally, the role may involve installation and commissioning tasks. This position requires regular site visits, emphasizing a customer-centric approach at all times.

The selected candidate must work collaboratively with team members and interact with clients and other trades in a professional and tactful manner, thereby positively representing the Company.

The Security Engineer will report directly to the Local Service Supervisor and will work closely with the Customer Service Manager. The ideal candidate will be eager to enhance their skills, undergo training on both new and existing Enterprise solutions, and pursue career development.

As a Senior Engineer, the responsibilities will include learning and addressing more complex systems and faults, providing technical guidance, and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing all relevant documentation

• Ensuring customer expectations are consistently met

• Managing workload effectively

• Quality Management

• Achieving company KPIs for attendance in line with client SLAs

• Collaboration and teamwork

• Problem-solving

• Delivering exceptional customer service

• Understanding and adhering to Vindex Systems' guidelines and standards of work

• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour at all times, in line with client and company expectations, to foster the Company's positive image

• Leading by example by adhering to all company rules and regulations, complying with site regulations, and safeguarding Company assets

• Ensuring timely completion of all required Company documentation, including Time Sheets, Expense Claims, and Site Reports, in accordance with established guidelines

• Observing and following company health and safety protocols to contribute to a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role. Qualifications in CCure and Genetec are preferred, though not essential. Candidates demonstrating a strong aptitude for learning and experience with similar Enterprise solutions will be considered for investment in training.

Skills:

• Experience in the Security/CCTV/Access Control sector

• Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities

• Effective planning skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Punctuality and reliability

• Flexibility to work additional hours as required, including occasional out-of-hours and weekend call-outs

• Familiarity with CCure, Genetec, VideoEdge, Milestone, and Avigilon

• A commitment to contributing to the Company’s success

• A dedication to delivering outstanding customer service

• A willingness to share knowledge in a team setting

• Self-motivated and confident demeanour

• Practical and adaptable mindset

• Ability to work as part of a team while accepting responsibility
