The SEON Solutions Engineering team provides domain and technical expertise to prospective and existing customers to uncover their challenges and goals, while prescribing the appropriate fraud-fighting solution.  It’s a key role in helping customers achieve their objectives and in fueling SEON’s growth as a leader in the fraud-fighting space.

A Senior Solutions Engineer in our organization brings their expertise and sales consulting experience to collaborate with sales and account management teams in order to meet our collective goals and objectives. This is accomplished by working closely with customers, sales teams, and SEON’s world class Fraud experts.

Our Solution Engineering team’s challenge is to provide customers guidance on the areas of their application and user journey which are subject to fraudster attacks, what the cost of that fraudulent activity is to customer organizations, and the best approach to fight it using SEON’s innovative solutions and technologies. 

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a critical subject matter and solutions expert during the pre-sales process, helping to further SEON’s mission to end fraud globally.
  • Provide support for technical integration discussions by aligning solutions to challenges faced by prospective and existing customers.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as sales, account management, customer success, product, and engineering to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of our solutions.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of the digital fraud landscape, applying knowledge and tactics for uncovering and fighting fraud to discussions around SEON’s platform capabilities.
  • Provide recommendations to clients, prospective clients and internal stakeholders, sharing insights and recommendations to optimize services and drive client satisfaction.
  • Serve as an important facet of SEON’s strategy in EMEA, assisting with how we reach and service clients in SEON’s mature home market. 

What you bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a solution engineering, solutions consulting, or similar sales engineering position, preferably in a start-up environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in fraud, compliance, AML, cybersecurity or adjacent industries. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members in the revenue organization and across the entire company.
  • Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy on the goals and objectives provided.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SDKs, mobile applications and platform integrations preferred.
  • Familiarity with Javascript, Typescript, and other web-based programming languages are a plus.
  • Fluency and professional proficiency in a second European language (French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc) strongly preferred, with experience working with clients across geographies and in non-English speaking environments a plus.
