Hybrid working:The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

As a senior GCP engineer, you will be working with our clients to help define solutions and solve their problems using Google Cloud Platform and related technologies. You will use your in-depth expertise to help define the architecture and lead/advise development teams, not being afraid of getting hands-on where necessary.
As a member of the Hyperscaler team, you will bring a mix of technical skills, industry insight, business acumen, and leadership. You will forge close working relationships across capabilities and teams in the UK as well as with our colleagues globally.

Your skills and experience

  1. Work on the most bleeding-edge cloud-native architectures in development today.
  2. Take end-to-end ownership to design, deliver solutions & build teams while helping with planning and ensuring requirements are satisfied, to agreed quality according to plan.
  3. Providing coaching to the team to enable planning, work estimation, and delivery as a Technical Leader.
  4. Be a trusted technology adviser to our clients as well as to Capgemini colleagues.
  5. Provide support for a development team from an Ops perspective, ensuring successful implementation of projects.

Your Security Clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
