We’re recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking company in the IT security sector, seeking a Senior Security and Threat Intelligence Sales Consultant. This role is based in London and offers a permanent position with a negotiable salary and a market-leading commission scheme. The company is renowned for its innovative approach to security, threat intelligence, and risk management, providing tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of its clients.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding the company's reach and impact. You will engage with clients to understand their security needs and propose suitable solutions, working closely with internal and external teams to ensure a seamless sales process. Your efforts will directly contribute to the company's growth and its ability to deliver cutting-edge security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell security and threat intelligence solutions, including managed services.
  • Present and introduce solutions to customers, both existing and new.
  • Identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Target and engage prospect customers through various methods, including cold calling and networking.
  • Manage the complete sales process with support from senior management.
  • Collaborate on writing and presenting RFI, RFQ, and RFP proposals.
  • Deliver presentations to prospects and customers.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Develop account plans focusing on security technologies and services.
  • Formulate business strategies for strategic accounts to meet targets.
  • Drive sales agendas to closure efficiently.
  • Increase revenue and profit through cross-selling.
    The ideal candidate will bring a proactive and strategic approach to sales. You will be adept at building relationships and understanding client needs, with a focus on delivering results. Your ability to navigate complex sales processes and work collaboratively with teams will be crucial to your success.
    Skills & Experience:
    Essential:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a busy sales environment within the IT industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Extensive experience selling into global enterprise accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of security and threat intelligence solutions.
    Nice to have:
  • Experience with RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
  • Political savvy within customer and partner organisations.
