Senior Lead Consultant – Security Architecture
Who are we looking for?

Bridewell has seen extensive growth over the past few years and as such we are looking for ambitious individuals who are passionate about Cyber Security and are keen to continue to develop and grow with us. You are a client facing security professional, with substantial experience in Security Architecture and Cloud Security and can lead and deliver comprehensive and robust security solutions to different audiences. You will have owned, led and developed end to end solution architectures for projects which have high security requirements.

What you’ll be doing

This role sits within our Security Architecture and Cyber Consulting teams meaning you’ll get to work with a variety of clients across a range of industries including Financial Services, Critical National Infrastructure and Government. At the Senior Lead Consultant level, you will be taking a lead role with these clients to manage and effectively deliver a range of Security Architecture projects, whilst also managing a team of Consultants. This requires a strong grasp of client requirements, alongside expertise in the design and implementation of comprehensive security solutions.

Delivery of client engagements, develop and implement security strategies (including HLDs and LLDs), identify and manage risks, create secure architectures, establish and communicate policies, and contribute to business growth through mentoring and strategic development.

Staying on top of the latest developments within Cyber Security by attending training and conferences.

Working with the leadership and sales team to respond to tenders and provide pre-sales support.

Subject matter expertise for security best practice, ensuring the maintenance of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data.

Leading, supporting and advising on projects and change initiatives to ensure that there is no negative impact on security posture or client’s security policies, procedures, and architectural blueprints.

Carrying out security architecture reviews and effectively reporting this to executive and key stakeholders.

Working with a variety of client teams for the effective delivery of security architecture as a service.

Building and managing a team of Senior Consultants, Consultants and Junior Consultants.

Quality Assure other consultants work as required and input into the development of Bridewell security methodologies.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have experience of:

Delivering and maintaining enterprise security solutions/architecture for (but not limited to) the following areas:

End Point Protection,

Network Security,

DevSecOps,

Security Monitoring & Remediation,

IDAM

SABSA

Defense in Depth Security Architecture, particularly Zero Trust Security Architecture

Knowledge of Secure Software Development Life Cycle best practices

Strong understanding and knowledge of Information Security risk management tools and techniques

Demonstrable knowledge of cyber security frameworks, including but not limited to: ISO27001, PCI-DSS, CIS Benchmarks, Cloud Platform Well Architected Frameworks.

Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing enterprise security technology controls and platforms, following industry best practices.

Experience of security governance and compliance across public, private, and government sectors

Awareness and understanding of the Information Security threat landscape

Deep understanding of Information Security solutions and controls

Previous experience of managing a team

Experience of Cloud security solutions and standards is highly advantageous

Location:

Bridewell operates a hybrid and flexible working policy, however you will be required to travel to different sites on occasion.
