Security Consultant

Manchester (Hybrid) | Up to £60,000 Basic (£80k OTE) + Benefits

This is a great opportunity to join the growing security practice of a successful IT Solutions Provider. In this pre-sales role, you’ll partner closely with Account Managers and technical teams to scope, position, and present tailored security solutions for customers. You’ll run whiteboarding sessions, contribute to strategy development, and act as a trusted advisor to help organisations improve their security posture against modern threats.

What’s on offer:

Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 remote) after probation, plus a modern office close with free parking. What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in Pre-Sales or similar technical consulting role, ideally within an MSP/Reseller

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks (e.g., SSE, SIEM, SASE, MDR/EDR, ISO27002, NIST)

  • Confident in leading technical customer conversations, developing tailored solutions, and producing supporting documentation

  • Relevant vendor certifications and/or experience working with endpoint protection and incident response

  • Collaborative, commercially aware, and confident presenting to customers at all levels
