Sales Manager – Cloud & Cybersecurity Sector
Location: Kingston, Greater London
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 basic + £40,000 OTE (Year 1)

Overview
 A rapidly expanding, award-winning UK-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and elevate their account management function. This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious business at the cutting edge of data protection, cybersecurity, and cloud services.

With a track record of innovation dating back several decades, the company has evolved into a trusted technology partner for mid-market organisations (200–10,000 users). Their services include advanced threat protection, compliance and risk consultancy, penetration testing, and a flagship data resilience platform combining enterprise-grade software with secure cloud infrastructure.

As they embark on an exciting new growth phase, this Sales Manager role will be instrumental in scaling their commercial capabilities and driving revenue performance through hands-on leadership and strategic sales execution.

Key Responsibilities
 This is a high-impact leadership role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-moving MSP environment. Key duties include:

Full ownership of the sales lifecycle: from pipeline generation and client engagement through to deal closure and handover
Growth of existing client base and strategic acquisition of new accounts through detailed account planning and opportunity identification
Line management of the Account Management team, including performance coaching, mentoring, and structured development
Collaboration with Business Development, Marketing, and Technical Pre-Sales to execute tailored go-to-market strategies
Implementation of effective sales processes, regular forecast reviews, and actionable reporting via CRM and analytics tools
Contribution to business strategy and alignment with wider commercial goals
Development of strong relationships with key vendors and distributors to maximise joint go-to-market success
Representation of the business at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums
Active involvement in recruitment, onboarding, and culture-building across the commercial functionIdeal Candidate Profile
 We’re looking for a commercially astute, hands-on sales leader who combines strategic thinking with tactical execution:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT/MSP sales, including cybersecurity, data resilience, cloud computing, or infrastructure services
A strong track record of leading successful sales teams and delivering measurable revenue growth
Familiarity with the UK mid-market sector and ability to engage confidently with senior decision-makers
Demonstrated strength in building and executing sales strategies across complex, solution-led sales environments
Excellent coaching, mentoring, and communication skills
High degree of comfort with CRM tools, sales analytics, and forecasting systems
A collaborative mindset with a drive to contribute to broader business growth
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when requiredBenefits & Progression
