Sacco Mann are recruiting for anexperienced Risk and Compliance Managerto join ahighly regarded commercial law firm in Manchester. The firm is looking for adriven leaderwho can support theimplementation and driving of risk and compliance strategiesacross the firm.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Risk and Compliance, you will besupporting the operational needsof the firm. You will beworking within a small team, where you will havedirect reports, and you willbe responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supporting the Director of Risk and Compliance in the implementation of risk management frameworks across the firm.
  2. Supporting the delivery of internal and external auditing (ISO 9001, 14001 and the CQS), as well as internal file reviews.
  3. Responsible for the Firm's external accreditations which include but are not limited to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 (the latter desirable, not mandatory), CQS and SQM.
  4. Providing training on Risk and Compliance to across the firm where required.
  5. Driving strategic improvements across the firm.
  6. Leading and supporting on all Risk projects.

About You

  1. Previous experience in a similar role (ideally within a legal environment).
  2. Previous experience of collaboratingwith internal stakeholders.
  3. Previous experience of managing compliance.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strongproblem-solving skills.
  6. Aforward-thinking approach.
