Job Summary

The role of the Project Manager (Production) is to lead on the delivery of Cladding remediation projects through all aspects of the construction stages of the replacement of the facade and be accountable for the projects’ programme delivery in line with the project targets and all stakeholders’ expectations. 

Contribute to the pre-construction planning of developments considering and developing project execution plans, site management strategies and building sequence/durations to facilitate the compilation of an overall development programme/budget.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, direction and monitoring of site of each project, ensuring that projects are delivered in a safe, efficient, cost effective and sustainable manner. 

Primary Responsibilities

Co-ordinate and manage pre-commencement Health and Safety obligations across the projects ensuring all pre-start Health & Safety Plans are fully developed prior to start on site in accordance with HSE policy and are maintained throughout the projects.  
Ensure the project teams are aware of the Health and Safety implications of all design decisions and contribute to finding the best solutions to problems.  
Ensure all stakeholders (inc RMT, management companies etc) are managed throughout the build process for their full cooperation.   
Ensure the build stages of the project are in compliance with the TW Complex Projects framework.  
Provide guidance and documentation necessary to formulate pre-development programmes and establish strategies for the project’s execution with clearly defined build methods, sequences and timings to facilitate comprehensive and robust project plans and budgets.  
Work collaboratively and assist with other departments Technical, Commercial and take a lead during the build/ remediation stage.  
Ensure risks are identified and managed through the project.  
Ensure a full review is undertaken at the appropriate time in a project to ensure the audits fully captured the whole project.  
Ensure that quality standards are set and maintained throughout the project, and that quality reports are prepared and promptly reviewed, and necessary actions taken to address areas of concern.  
Take responsibility for the site prelims budget and ensure that costs are monitored and interrogated regularly.  
Ensure that all site decisions are made considering the impact on objective, quality, cost and programme and are suitably discussed and agreed as necessary with the Technical and Commercial functions and Project Lead before contractors are instructed.  
Implement a system for the control and monitoring audit controls reports/Zutec from contractors 

Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements

Proven track record at similar level in the construction industry, with experience gained in working with developers, contractors and/or other related partners     
Strong understanding of Facade/Cladding replacement on residential construction, particularly high-rise developments (18m+), with a proven track record of delivering high profile, complex construction projects to time, cost, and quality standards     
Proven track record of managing a range of stakeholder relationships including local authorities, landowners, developers and contractors   
An in-depth knowledge of the construction process and construction methods, knowledge of current UK construction laws, legislation, and regulations, standards and procedures is preferrable. 
Degree or professional qualification in property, development, construction or a related field (or equivalent work experience and a clear plan for achieving the necessary qualifications) is preferrable.
