This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Production or Systems Engineer to join a market leader at an exciting time of growth.

This company is a global leader in agriculture supplies who have been established over a century and are continuing to grow. Due to this growth, they are now looking for an experienced Production IT Engineer to join the team who will lead the way as they heavily investing in the latest equipment and technologies.

In this varied role, you'll monitor, troubleshoot, and support production IT systems, alongside administering and securing industrial networks. You'll be responsible for implementing change control procedures, maintaining asset documentation, and performing general maintenance, security updates, upgrades, diagnostics, and data backups for workstations and servers across both IT and OT domains. This includes managing industrial control systems like SCADA and PLC networks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in application software with a strong understanding of hardware, networking, infrastructure and cyber security. Equally, knowledge of industrial control systems such as SCADA and PLC is required to support production. Any experience of directly working on and supporting production sites is a plus, as is an understanding of operational technologies (OT).

The Role:

Monitor and support production IT systems.
Administer and secure industrial networks.
Manage change control, documentation, and maintenance (IT/OT).
Maintain industrial control systems (SCADA, PLC).

The Person:

A proven track record with application software, hardware, networking, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
Knowledge of industrial control systems (SCADA, PLC).
Experience supporting production sites is advantageous.
An understanding of operational technologies (OT) would be beneficial.
