Are you a hands-on IT infrastructure expert ready to step into a leadership role? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where your technical expertise and strategic thinking can shape the future of IT operations?

An established UK leader in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production is seeking a Head of IT to take ownership of its national IT infrastructure. This is a hybrid role with regular travel to regional offices across the UK - all fully expensed.

🔧 The Role:

As the go-to technical authority, you'll lead and evolve a robust Microsoft-based infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. This is a hands-on, 3rd/4th line level position with strategic oversight and project delivery responsibilities.

You'll manage:

Microsoft Cloud & O365 environments
Active Directory & Azure AD
Windows 10/11, Windows Server lineage
Virtualisation, Networking, VoIP
Cyber Security, MFA, IAM, Backups
Desktop, Software & Hardware Support🧠 What You'll Bring:

Proven experience in 3rd/4th Line IT Engineering
A consultative, forward-thinking mindset
Strong vendor management and SLA oversight
Experience in cybersecurity resilience and user access control
