We are seeking a detail and solutions-oriented Privacy Analyst with a strong foundation in data privacy frameworks and operations, ideally gained in a fast-paced technology organisation. The successful candidate will be a driven self-starter, a strong team player, and have a passion for privacy, AI, data management, and legal ops, with the ability to adapt quickly and think on their feet in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of the Privacy & AI team, sitting within Trustpilot’s broader ‘Trust’ function.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Support the organization’s data privacy & AI strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement, maintain, and improve privacy & AI compliance policies and procedures.
  3. Assist in conducting data privacy & AI risk assessments and ensure effective controls are in place.
  4. Help monitor and improve data privacy & AI practices across various departments.
  5. Be the primary point of contact for managing the team mailbox and triaging and allocating work efficiently across relevant stakeholders.
  6. Own the handling of a variety of privacy-related queries from consumers and businesses, including data subjects' rights and vendor due diligence.
  7. Provide support on privacy-related technical issues and assist with documentation and training materials.
  8. Assist in creating privacy-related stats, KPIs and reports, and presentations.
  9. Stay informed on changes to privacy laws, regulations, and best practices, and help with adjusting internal procedures.

Who You Are

  1. A keen interest in data privacy, AI, and legal compliance, ideally with some form of related qualification.
  2. Practical experience of handling data protection and privacy-related compliance tasks such as DSRs, ROPA, DPIAs, and LIAs, with experience of communicating directly with consumer and business customers preferred.
  3. Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts in a practical, real-world setting.
  4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  5. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  6. You use your own initiative and ‘make things happen’.
  7. Experience in legal or privacy ops and understanding of how best to leverage technology and tools to drive quality and efficiency improvements. Experience with data governance tools and systems preferred.
  8. You enjoy a busy role and the buzz that comes from having multiple matters on the go at the same time.
  9. You communicate clearly and confidently, in writing and in person.
  10. Fun disposition with a positive, can-do attitude, and a strong team player.
