Privacy Analyst (Contract)

We have the opportunity for a Privacy Analyst (12-month fixed-term contract) to join our Legal & Data Protection department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. You will report to the Senior Data Protection Manager and will assist with the Data Protection & Privacy team to ensure that Tokio Marine Kiln fulfils its legal and regulatory responsibilities in the areas of UK Data Protection legislation.

This role includes responsibility for:

  • Assists the team in ensuring pre-DPIAs are completed within a timely manner
  • Assisting in completing comprehensive DPIAs across the TMK Group
  • Liaising with the Procurement Team to ensure vendors provide information required to review and action pre-DPIAs
  • Assisting the Data Protection & Compliance Manager to ensure TMK’s Records of Processing activities are up to date and reaching out to business departments to capture any gaps
  • Reviews and action data protection incidents & breaches
  • Assisting with undertaking LIAs & TRAs as required
  • Creating periodic data protection stats for various committees/stakeholders & executive board
  • Providing tailored training to various business departments as required
  • Assisting with subject access requests as required and maintaining an up-to-date log
  • Assisting on an ad hoc basis on other data protection/privacy issues that may arise within the business as necessary

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of working with GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Data Protection certifications such as CIPP/E and/or CIPM and previous experience of using OneTrust are highly desirable. We are looking for a team player who has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
