Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider delivering innovative IT solutions to empower businesses. Their team thrives on transforming client challenges into opportunities through cutting-edge technology, with a strong focus on Microsoft ecosystems and broader IT solutions.

The Role – Presales Consultant

They’re seeking a talented Presales Consultant to act as the vital link between their sales and technical teams. You’ll gather client business needs and translate them into tailored IT solutions, showcasing the value of our clients services, particularly in Microsoft Azure and M365, while leveraging a broad understanding of technology to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities – Presales Consultant

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge of IT solutions, with a strong bias towards Microsoft licensing and expertise in cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, and related technologies.
Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and pain points, designing customised solutions that align with their business objectives.
Sales Support: Partner with the sales team to provide technical guidance, deliver compelling product demos, respond to RFPs, and lead technical discussions to drive sales.
Client Relationships: Build trust and rapport with clients by clearly communicating the value of our offerings and ensuring their needs are met.
Commercial Acumen: The ability to sit with, engage with, and present to clients. The commercial ability to close deals.  
Bridging Teams: Act as a liaison between sales and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and accurate translation of client requirements into technical specifications.

Skills and Qualifications – Presales Consultant

Technical Proficiency: Strong background in cloud computing (Azure, M365), networking, cybersecurity, and other technologies, with particular knowledge/expertise in Microsoft licensing.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse client challenges, identify solutions, and propose effective, tailored strategies.
Sales Acumen: Understanding of the sales process with the ability to present solutions confidently and contribute to closing deals.
Experience: Proven experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or related roles within an MSP or VAR environment.
