Your Purpose:

Reporting to the Managing Director and being a member of our Nuclear EMEA leadership team, you will be the leader of our New Build business which covers our new build activities across large- and small-scale nuclear reactors which includes GW, SMRs/AMRs, and our work in the Fusion sector. The role will also take a lead on all our regional new build opportunity plays across the UK, Europe and Middle East, including our New Build business that we have established in France. The role will have full P&L responsibility for the market, leading a business delivering approximately £100m of revenue per annum, which an ambition to make is £250m in the next five years. In doing so you will work closely with clients, external partners, suppliers, account managers, and our work winning functions.

To enable us to achieve the business growth we're capable of, in the timescales we believe matches our potential, you'll be the type of person who just can't help but get things done. You will be valued for your vision to collaborate, influence, innovate, connect, and energise those around you; if your natural style is to create momentum and enthusiasm then we think you'll enjoy the challenges and opportunities that we're pursuing.

You will also be industry leading on your sector knowledge, with an excellent understanding of the New Build sector needs, how projects are delivered and be at the forefront of technical and digital advancements which will be fundamental to success in this sector in the future.

It's quite simple, our plans for growth encompass some of the most amazingly interesting things. Our New Build sector has achieved significant growth over recent years and we're looking for more in the future. So, it's never been more of an exciting time to be part of our Nuclear EMEA business. We're embarking on a brilliant five-year transformational growth plan which you will help lead on. It's a plan that will see our business double in size through bidding, winning, and delivering projects of a scale and complexity that provide the most amazing opportunities for everyone involved.

You'll play a key role in the expansion and development efforts of our Nuclear EMEA business. You will bring a diverse approach to thought, think the unthinkable, and question the norm. Supporting the growth of our existing client base whilst also expanding our client base and addressable market share.

Hybrid working is very important to us; however, we would expect that you would want to spend a significant amount of your time with clients, partners and our great teams spread across the region. Travel will also be important to you, to ensure that you are able to connect with staff and clients across your whole portfolio.

What you'll bring:

We could be all formal (and that bit is in the summary of areas of focus below) and explain that you'll have industry leading knowledge, have grown businesses in the past and have a demonstratable track record in the leadership of teams and all that good stuff (which is true). But what's the equally important value for you to succeed? It's your enthusiasm. You'll inspire others and like approaching things in new and innovative ways, you'll love working and connecting with people and of course, having the best time along the way.

If this sounds like you, then we'd love to hear from you, so please submit a CV and a paragraph or two to share what inspires you about this role and how you might apply your natural strengths within it.

Summary of areas of focus:

  • Industry leading sector knowledge.
  • Leading knowledge and thinking in the application of technology and know-how to create market differentiation.

  • Embed a culture of collaboration and people development.
  • Lead on long term growth strategies, plans and develop strategic pipeline.
  • Develop new markets and/or geographies within the Nuclear EMEA New Build sector.
