Channel Sales Director (Individual Sales Contributor role / Build out the Channel Sales Capability)

Up to £120,000 base + Double OTE

The Role of Channel Sales Director: GRC Software / B2B SaaS

We’re seeking an experienced hands-onChannel Sales Directorto build out our clients’ channel sales capability from the ground up.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and owning the Channel Sales function whilst operating as an individual contributor. It will be your role to build this service capability and then identify, onboard, and manage key channel partners, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support needed to drive sales and expand market reach. You will play a crucial role in executing the company’s channel sales strategy while strengthening partnerships with VARs, resellers, and other key players in the GRC and cybersecurity ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor, hands-on senior channel sales specialist with a wealth of experience inB2B SaaSin theGovernance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)software solutions market.

Responsibilities of the Channel Sales Director

  • Build out and develop the Channel Sales service capability
  • Develop and Execute Channel Strategy:Build and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy to expand the company’s presence in the market.
  • Identify and Onboard Partners:Recruit and enable new resellers, VARs, and strategic partners to strengthen the company’s channel ecosystem.
  • Manage Partner Relationships:Foster long-term partnerships with key players, ensuring mutual success and consistent revenue generation.
  • Drive Revenue Growth Through Partners:Work closely with channel partners to develop sales strategies, co-marketing initiatives, and joint business plans.
  • Enable Partner Success:Provide training, sales tools, and support to ensure channel partners are equipped to effectively sell the company’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams:Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on channel goals and objectives.
  • Monitor Performance & Optimise Strategy:Track partner performance, analyse sales data, and refine channel strategies to maximise revenue potential.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends:Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to position the company as a leading GRC SaaS provider.

What Are We Looking For?

  • A minimum of5+ years of experience in channel sales or partner management, within enterprise software, SaaS, or cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record of successfullybuilding and scaling channel partnershipsthat drive revenue growth.
  • Experience sellingGovernance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) softwareor related SaaS solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strongrelationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives within partner organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability todevelop and execute successful channel strategies, leading to increased market share and sales performance.
  • Excellentcommunication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and build compelling business cases for partners.
  • A data-driven approach to sales, with the ability to analyse partner performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
