IT & Digital Skills Trainer

Hybrid (London-based office, 12 days/year)
Full-Time | 37.5 hours per week
£35,000 – £45,000

Are you passionate about teaching digital skills and making a real difference in people’s lives? This is your chance to join a national training provider delivering high-impact adult learning programmes across the UK.

We're seeking a dynamic and engaging IT & Digital Skills Trainer to deliver high-quality, Level 2 training across a wide range of digital topics. If you're someone who thrives in a learner-focused environment, adapts well to fast-paced delivery, and is excited by the opportunity to support others into further education, employment, or apprenticeships — we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver engaging and effective Level 2 digital and IT skills sessions (e.g. cybersecurity, digital graphics, networks, programming, spreadsheets, IT support, and more)

Support learners in building confidence and setting clear personal and professional goals

*

Provide tailored support based on initial assessments and learner needs

*

Mentor learners on digital literacy, career progression, and employability skills

*

Monitor learner progress, attendance, and achievement; maintain high-quality records

*

Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the learner journey and improve outcomes

✅ What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

*

A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS, or equivalent Level 3/4 award)

*

English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent)

*

A technical qualification or relevant industry experience in IT/Digital Skills

*

An assessor qualification (or willingness to work toward one)

Skills & Attributes:

*

Confident delivering a variety of IT and digital topics at Level 2

*

Passion for education and learner development

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

Ability to adapt delivery to suit learner needs and pace

*

A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Additional Requirements

*

Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel to training centres or employer sites

*

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
