Sparta Global is looking for passionate and committed individuals who want to kickstart a career in technology! You must be willing to complete full-time training, and will then be assigned to work in a role with one of our trusted client partners as a 'Spartan' consultant.

In this role you will undertake:

Network Security- Understanding of firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure network protocols.Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Assessment- Skills in identifying, simulating, and remediating vulnerabilities through tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit) and manual testing.Incident Response & Forensic Analysis- Ability to manage and respond to security breaches, perform digital forensics, and mitigate damage through structured incident response processes.Risk Management & Compliance- Proficiency in identifying potential security risks, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.Security Architecture & System Hardening- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT infrastructures by applying best practices.Cryptography- Knowledge of encryption algorithms, secure key management, and certificate lifecycle management to protect data integrity and confidentiality.Threat Intelligence & Analysis- Ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data from various threat sources to preempt potential cyber attacks.Security Automation & Scripting- Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to automate repetitive tasks, analyse security logs, and manage incident response.

How it works:

Learn: Complete a period of full-time Academy training when you join Sparta Global. All training is delivered remotely by our team of industry-professional trainers and is paid from day one.

Work:At the successful completion of training, you will become a 'Spartan' consultant and be available for assignment to work with one of our clients.

Grow:You'll work with our client for up to 24 months, be able to access upskilling and are then available to convert to a full-time employee with your assigned employer.

Person specification:

To qualify, you need to demonstratesomeexperience or understanding of python or similar technologies. Most importantly, you should have a strong eagerness to learn and grow.

Eligibility:

At Sparta Global, you will be deployed to work with one of our client partners at the completion of your training. For this reason, candidates must be open to relocation/commuting for client site deployments and remote work cannot be guaranteed.
