Job Title - IT Security Analyst

?Salary - £35,000 - £41,000 Per annum

Location - Northampton

Hybrid - After 3 months' probation

?Job Purpose

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Security Analyst to join their cybersecurity team. This role involves reporting to the Senior Information Security Officer, and working alongside the IT Service delivery Manager, Infrastructure Team, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure the security of our infrastructure and data.

The Security Analyst will be based at their head office inWellingborough, Northamptonshireand will report to the Senior Information Security Officer and together will work alongside the IT Service Delivery Manager, Infrastructure Team, DevOps, and Compliance Teams to ensure the security of our infrastructure and data.

?Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse security alerts from various tools such as WAF, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
