As a Manager, you will workclosely with our client's leadership teams to understand their keychallenges, define IT strategies, win buy-in for yourrecommendations and lead BCG case team members to transform clientpotential into performance. You will deploy customized ITstrategies, digital platforms and architecture to leverage thedigital potential of our customers with state-of-the-art tools suchas cloud computing, AI, blockchain, microservices andcontainerization. You will evaluate and coach our clients'technology teams, manage quality and risk while maintaining clientexpectations and escalations. Besides giving direction on thefunctional, execution and management of the project you will begiven end-to-end responsibility for larger, highly technical andmore complex modules within the project and begin to developspecialized knowledge to help you solve our clients problems.Together with our clients you will develop convincing ITstrategies, concepts and solutions, applying your sound technicalknow-how along with your analytical and conceptual skills. You will also personally develop andgrow by being exposed to new and complex challenges daily. Finally,as a Manager you will contribute to the Practice Area developmentand help to build the BCG brand as a digital leader. What You'llBring 10 to 15 years' experience in Tech strategy and consulting orIT project management. You will have relevant experience from a topconsulting firm (focused on technology, digital initiatives) andhave led the design and management of IT implementation andstrategy projects. A strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, able towork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environmentOutstanding analytical and conceptual skills, strong customer focusand mental agility with a results orientation Experience in theInsurance or finance industries, with strong technical expertise inbanking or insurance platforms. Strong expertise working with Dataand Cloud technologies. Ability to balance dogmatism and pragmatismto guide decision making. Able to present different architecturemodels to clients, develop MVP architecture and IT landscapemodernisation roadmaps. Deep expertise with modern toolsets inAgile environments, legacy modernization and modern approaches totechnology. Know-how to drive operational and client serviceexcellence, presenting project results to C-Level. Have experiencewith, and understand how to lead, legacy integration andremediation (facades, strangler approaches, et. al.). Ability towork under pressure and willingness to travel to clientsworld-wide. University degree with above-average academicperformance in a mathematical-scientific field, informationtechnology, engineering, or business administration. For candidatesbased in London: Fluent in English. For candidates based in TheNetherlands: Fluent in English; Dutch is highly desirable.
