Information Security Analyst | GRC Specialist | Contract | Northampton | Hybrid | Inside IR35

My client is seeking a proactive GRC specialist / Information Security Analyst to join a security team. The chosen applicant will improve the company's security posture by working on important projects in every department. These consist of third-party security evaluations, privacy requests, and phishing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities on the Information Security Analyst:


  • Phishing Campaign Management: Create and implement phishing simulations to raise organisational security awareness.
  • ITSM Ticket Handling: management of compliance and security-related tickets
  • In accordance with GDPR, assist in processing Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Right to Be Forgotten (RTBF) requests.
  • Third-Party Security Assessments: Work together with internal stakeholders and vendors to carry out and record risk assessments and third-party security evaluations.
  • Facilitate penetration testing by organising both external and internal tests, monitoring results, and reporting findings.
  • Assist in growing maintaining our GRC frameworks, policies, and procedures.


Information Security Analyst Experience/Technology:

• Verified expertise in information security and GRC.
• A thorough understanding of data privacy laws including GDPR.
• Proficiency in managing phishing simulations and campaigns.
• Knowledge with ITSM tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
• Third-party risk management and penetration testing facilitation experience
• Effective communication and attention to detail.

The successful Information Security Analyst will be required to work 3-days a week onsite in Northampton.
