Head of Technology & Digital Transformation required by a Manchester based Company that have 100 staff, 70 based in Manchester and 30 based remotely across the Globe. It is a Hybrid role, but they are looking for a Head of Technology & Digital Transformation person who wants to integrate themselves into the company, the salary is circa 60k.

This is a newly created role to own the long term technology strategy reporting into the CEO to join at a pivotal moment in their growth journey. As Head of Technology & Digital Transformation, you'll lead a full-scale digital overhaul, inject AI into the heart of operations, and modernise a mission-critical, in-house CRM platform.

Reporting to the CEO, you'll shape the company's technical strategy and lead its execution - across AI/automation, cybersecurity, performance optimisation, and infrastructure design. You'll work closely with an established internal remote development team, oversee outsourced IT services, and bring legacy systems up to modern standards.

With a robust tech stack already in place (PHP 8.2, MySQL 8, Redis, AWS S3), you'll take things to the next level - scaling performance, driving innovation, and preparing the business for the future.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and deliver a roadmap of 30+ AI/ML-powered CRM features (including voice AI, automation, and predictions).

Overhaul legacy CRM UI/UX into a high-performance, modern user experience.

Resolve application sluggishness, optimise load performance, and boost uptime.

Own cybersecurity strategy: implement audits, intrusion detection, and disaster recovery plans.

Integrate disconnected platforms (e.g., SpeechIQ, People Management) into a centralised data ecosystem.

Manage infrastructure improvements, server performance, and monitoring tools.

Build and lead a high-performing tech function aligned with business goals.

You'll Need to Bring

Proven experience as a CTO, Head of Tech, or Technical Lead, ideally within CRM, SaaS, or high-growth environments.

Strong background in AI/ML automation, particularly speech and text applications.

Deep understanding of Cybersecurity, backup/recovery systems, and risk mitigation.

Experience modernising legacy platforms into scalable, fast, and user-friendly systems.

Excellent communication skills - capable of aligning stakeholders and leading change.

Location & Hybrid Working

Manchester-based HQ with regular office presence required (minimum once a week).

You'll be a visible and collaborative leader - someone who integrates with the team, not just dials in from afar.
