About RMI Cyber

RMI Cyber is a bold new name in the cybersecurity space, specialising in attack surface management—helping businesses get visibility and control over their exposed digital assets before attackers do. Backed by the well-established security consultancy One Compliance, we’re combining start-up energy with serious cybersecurity expertise.

This is your opportunity to get in at the ground level of something exciting and fast-moving. You’ll be joining a business with big ambitions, backed by people who know how to deliver.

The Role

We’re looking for Sales Development Representatives to help us drive growth by identifying and engaging new business opportunities. You’ll be part of the founding sales team, playing a critical role in shaping how we go to market, how we sell, and ultimately how fast we grow.

This isn’t a “smile and dial” job. It’s about smart, curious, motivated people who want to build something and build themselves in the process.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Researching and identifying prospective clients across key verticals

  • Engaging with prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to qualify interest

  • Booking meetings for senior sales and technical teams

  • Collaborating closely with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging

  • Managing and tracking activity through CRM tools

  • Continuously learning about cybersecurity, our product, and the industry

    What We’re Looking For

We’re open-minded on background, but here’s what the best people in this role tend to have:

  • 0–2 years of sales experience (grads welcome!)

  • Grit, resilience, and bags of energy – you take initiative and get things done

  • A mature attitude towards learning – you’re hungry to develop your skills and knowledge

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - this is a must!

  • Experience in telephone-based sales is a big plus

  • Interest in or exposure to cybersecurity or IT sales is a bonus, but not expected

    What You’ll Get

A chance to build your career at the very start of an ambitious company’s journey

  • Uncapped commission structure with real earning potential

  • Regular training and professional development

  • Access to mentors and sales leaders who’ve built teams and companies before

  • Hybrid working model with flexibility and autonomy

  • A workplace culture that rewards effort, celebrates learning, and grows people

    Why Now?

There’s never been a better time to get into cybersecurity. It’s one of the fastest-growing industries in the world and we’re right at the centre of it. By joining RMI Cyber now, you’ll help shape the future of the company and your own career from day one.

Ready to launch your sales career with purpose?

Apply now and tell us why you’re excited to be part of something new

How to Find Hidden Cyber Security Jobs in the UK Using Professional Bodies like BCS, CIISec & More

The demand for skilled cyber security professionals in the UK has never been higher. With threats increasing in sophistication and frequency, organisations are urgently hiring ethical hackers, threat analysts, GRC specialists, and security architects. But many of the most valuable roles—particularly in government, defence, and critical infrastructure—are never publicly advertised. Instead, these jobs are shared behind the scenes through trusted networks, private communities, and professional bodies. In this article, we explore how to uncover hidden cyber security jobs in the UK using organisations like the BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT), CIISec (The Chartered Institute of Information Security), ISACA, and ISC² UK Chapter.
