About the role
As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will be ensuring the safety of the best-in-class products. You will be working closely with engineering, product security, and functional safety experts. You will also manage functional safety and cybersecurity external assessments, conduct internal audits, and drive open actions to closure.

Our client is currently looking for a new recruit to join their team. Please read on! You can also ask our friendly recruitment team any questions you may have about the role, between 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Shifts: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)

The must-haves:

Extensive practical knowledge of one or more functional safety, quality and cybersecurity standards such as ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 61508 and ISO 9001.
In-depth expertise in safety analysis methodologies, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis.
Experience in performing audits in Functional Safety, Automotive Cybersecurity or Quality for at least 3 years.
Great understanding of Soft-IP (Software, Hardware) development lifecycle from a Functional Safety perspective.
Strong interpersonal skills to help develop relationships and network with internal customers.
