Job Title: AWS Security Engineer

Location: London, hybrid - You will be required to go onto the London office 1-2 days per week, travel to other sites will also be a necessity. Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of our Cloud Security team, you’ll be working with our customers to build systems that support their core mission capabilities. You’ll work as part of an empowered, autonomous Security DevOps teams with regular contact with end-users to understand, design, develop, deploy and maintain applications and services.



  • Contribute to refinement of non-functional requirements
  • Implement security best-practices and recommendations; often through the means of developed services and automation
  • Facilitate an effective relationship between third-party suppliers and Home Office platform teams
  • Raise issues and risks appropriately
  • Operate in small cross-functional engineering teams to build supportable, sustainable, and reliable services
  • Create quality documentation and Jira ticket commentary


Certifications

Completed or working towards one of the following certifications:



  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • Cyber Security +
  • Splunk Core Certified Power User
  • Splunk Practioner
  • SSC - C03 or AWS - C03


Essential Technologies
