Job Title:Cyber Consulting Director / Partner

Department:Cybersecurity Consulting

Reports To:Senior Leadership Senior Partner Head of Cybersecurity

Location:Flexible/Hybrid (with travel as required)

Role Overview:

As a Cyber Consulting Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth of the cybersecurity consulting practice. You will lead business development initiatives, manage senior client relationships, and oversee the delivery of complex cybersecurity programs. This role combines thought leadership, commercial acumen, and technical expertise to help organizations navigate their cybersecurity challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the cybersecurity consulting practice.
    • Build and lead high-performing teams of consultants and technical experts.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and board members on cybersecurity matters.
    • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the practice.
  2. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across sectors.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of consulting engagements.
    • Collaborate with other practice areas (e.g., risk, cloud, data) to drive cross-functional initiatives.
    • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums.
  3. Client Delivery:
    • Oversee the delivery of complex cybersecurity engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
    • Provide strategic guidance on areas such as cyber risk management, threat intelligence, and incident response.
    • Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  4. Thought Leadership:
    • Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity trends and threats.
    • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions, frameworks, and methodologies.
    • Author whitepapers, blogs, and other publications to enhance the firm’s reputation.

Skills & Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven track record in cybersecurity consulting at a senior level, preferably as a Partner or Principal.
  • Deep expertise in areas such as cyber risk, cloud security, threat intelligence, and incident response.
  • Strong business development and account management capabilities, with experience generating significant revenue.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience advising C-suite executives.

Technical Expertise:

  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies for threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.
