Our customer is multinational engineering company that specializes in automation and technology solutions across industries such as food, beverage, warehousing, and parcel/post. With expertise in logistics, production, and robotic automation, they provide advanced software to optimize material handling and sorting. Their focus is on enhancing efficiency and productivity through structured, cost-effective engineering while embracing innovation and modern methodologies. And they are looking for DevOps Engineer to join their new project!

Responsibilities:

Automation of Development and Deployment Processes: o CI/CD Pipeline, Automation Scripting
Collaboration Between Development and Operations
Infrastructure and Cloud Management: Cloud Computing, Virtualization and Containerization, Infrastructure Monitoring
Configuration Management: System Hardening and Automated Configuration Management
Security and Compliance: Security Automation, Infrastructure Security
Optimization and Capacity Planning.
Software Deployment and Release Management: Release Automation, Rollback Mechanism and VersioningTechnical Skills:

Proficiency with Linux and Windows Server administration.
Experience with Git for source code management, and familiarity with branching and merging strategies.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure Pipeline.
Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration and deployment of containerized applications.
Expertise in IaC tools like Azure Pipeline to automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure for deploying, managing, and scaling applications on Prem Servers.
Familiarity with monitoring tools to monitor application health and performance.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate tasks and write configuration scripts.
Familiarity with database management and optimization for both relational (e.g., MSSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
Knowledge of security best practices, such as encryption, identity and access management (IAM), firewalls, and vulnerability scanning.Additional Skills

Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and how DevOps practices integrate into Agile development cycles.
Release Management: Understanding of release management processes, including version control, deployment scheduling, and rollback strategies.
Compliance and Audit: Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and implementing infrastructure in a compliant manner.Qualifications and Experience Levels

Relevant Computer/Software/Information Technology degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience
Experience in a similar industry with around 4-5 years of experience
A strong portfolio showcasing DevOps projects (personal projects, open-source contributions, or work done in previous roles) is valuable.
Practical experience with designing, developing, and deploying complete applications test cases is required.Reasons why you should apply:
