This position is ideal for a dynamic and experienced professional who excels in team management and has a profound understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of cybersecurity engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing robust security measures.

What you’ll be doing:

Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers.


Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries.
Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) function.
Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Plan, implement, and oversee cybersecurity changes in a structured manner.
Oversee security incident management and resolution processes.
Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, process flow diagrams, and the knowledge base.
Manage workloads and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Report to senior management on the status of infrastructure projects and operations.
Implement and maintain industry standard cybersecurity controls, testing and evidencing the effectiveness of the controls on a regular basis.

What we’re looking for:

Strong organizational and project management skills.


Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of 2+ years in management.
Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environment (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).
Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Tanium).
Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies (with OT knowledge being an additional benefit).
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with IT Managers, the Helpdesk, and other areas of IT.
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, being able to decipher sometimes complex information, analyse and report on for different audiences.
Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.
