B2B IT Sales Executive

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester (Office-based)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 basic (DOE) + uncapped commission
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am-5pm Friday 8.30am-4pm

We are seeking a driven, resilient, and commercially focused B2B IT Sales Executive to join the growing commercial team of a UK-based IT value-added partner. This role sits within a fast-paced sales environment, focused on winning new business and delivering tailored IT, software, hardware, cloud, and AI solutions to businesses across multiple sectors.

This is a target-driven, consultative sales role suited to someone with proven B2B sales experience within the technology sector, who thrives on outbound sales activity and building strong relationships with decision-makers.

Our client operates within the IT and technology solutions space, supporting organisations with digital transformation, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities as a B2B IT Sales Executive:

Proactively generate new business through targeted outbound calling, prospecting, and lead generation
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to closing
Build and maintain strong relationships with key business decision-makers
Identify client requirements and propose tailored IT, cloud, and AI solutions
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and commercial proposals
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline effectively
Stay up to date with technology trends, including AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure 

Requirements as a B2B IT Sales Executive:

Minimum of 2 years’ B2B sales experience (essential)
Previous experience within the technology sector (IT, SaaS, cloud, hardware, or software)
Proven new business development experience
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building ability
Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and pipeline
Genuine interest in technology and digital solutions 

Successful candidates may be required to complete relevant background checks prior to employment.
