The Role


As an Associate Cyber Security Consultant you will support the management of a Security Grading Guide updating the process continuously developing artefacts and process documents for the Future Combat Air System delivery team.

Day-to-day, you willsupport both UK industry consultation and the coordination and preparing of materials for trilateral discussions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the maintenance of the Security Grading Guide managing a flow of work and bringing together technical reviewers
  • Preparing material to support trilateral discussions and approval of changes
  • Capturing discussions and generating specific update proposals for recording in the Security Grading Guide
  • The generation of technical progress reports on outputs listed and creating monthly update reports
  • Tracking proposals from FCAS partners and covering activities carried out during quarterly progress reviews
  • Continuous development of SGG artefacts and process documents

Essential experience of the Associate Cyber Security Consultant:

  • The ability to understand cyber risk impact on business outcomes and communicating effectively
  • Previous experience articulating evidenced convincing arguments for recommended courses of action
  • The ability to understand how architects and designers employ technology to build systems of interest
  • Digitally literate (including fluency in Microsoft Office tools)
  • Able to understand relevant NIST frameworks and ISO27001 standards and how to apply in practice

Essential qualifications for the Associate Cyber Security Consultant:

This role is 37 hours per week based at multiple UK sites. Hybrid working patterns available. Travel to customer sites will be expected.
