We’re growing fast, and we’re on the lookout for a talented graduate or early-career professional to join us as a 1st Line IT Technician – could that be you?

The Role
This is your chance to kickstart an exciting career in IT with a company that values your potential and invests in your growth. As a 1st Line IT Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for our diverse portfolio of clients, providing top-tier technical support and solutions with a smile. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same, tackling challenges head-on and making a real difference to businesses relying on our expertise.

This entry-level role is perfect for a recent graduate or someone with a keen interest in IT who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, learn from industry experts, and lay the foundations for a rewarding career in technology. With hands-on training and mentorship from our seasoned professionals, you’ll gain invaluable skills and experience to propel you forward – all while being part of a supportive team that’s as ambitious as you are.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the friendly face (or voice!) of our IT support, responding to client queries via phone, email, or ticketing systems with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, from software glitches to hardware hiccups, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity – showcasing your problem-solving prowess.
  • Escalate complex issues to our 2nd Line team with detailed notes, ensuring a seamless handover and swift resolution.
  • Assist with user account management, including password resets and access requests, using tools like Active Directory.
  • Keep our clients in the loop with clear, jargon-free updates on their support tickets.
  • Contribute to our knowledge base by documenting common fixes and processes – your input will help us shine even brighter!
  • Embrace opportunities to learn about cloud services, cybersecurity basics, and the latest IT trends under the guidance of our expert team.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A recent graduate with a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent passion and self-taught knowledge in technology.
  • A natural problem-solver with a curiosity for how things work and a determination to find solutions.
  • Fantastic communication skills – you’ll be chatting with clients daily, so a friendly and approachable manner is a must.
  • Basic understanding of IT fundamentals (e.g., Windows OS, Microsoft Office, networking basics) – don’t worry, we’ll teach you the rest!
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also take initiative when the moment calls for it.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn – this is your launchpad to a stellar IT career, and we want you to seize it!
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available at this time).

Bonus Points (Not Essential)
  • Any prior experience in a customer-facing or technical support role (even part-time or internships).
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles, ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk), or MSP environments.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for emerging tech like cloud computing or cybersecurity.

What We Offer
  • A competitive starting salary with regular reviews as you grow with us.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, paid holidays, and wellness perks.
  • Hands-on training and mentorship from our experienced IT crew – we’re invested in your success.
  • Clear career progression opportunities – from 1st Line to 2nd Line and beyond, your future is bright here.
  • A vibrant, inclusive workplace culture with team socials, tech talks, and a supportive atmosphere.
  • Exposure to a variety of industries and technologies, giving you a broad foundation to build your expertise.
