£70,000 - £80,000 + car allowance, bonus, private medical and lots more

Full Time / Permanent

Hybrid / Remote - monthly travel to head office in Oxfordshire ideally

The Company:

My client is an industry leading and award-winning financial services organisation who operate on a global scale. They are headquartered in Oxfordshire, UK and also have offices throughout Europe and the US.

The Role:

We are looking for a driven and experienced Information Security Engineer to join a small but highly skilled experienced team and they continue to grow.

As an Information Security Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping and fortifying the organisation's cyber defence strategies. Leveraging deep technical expertise and strategic vision, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions that safeguard critical assets and data.

In addition to this you must have strong analytical skills to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective solutions, as well as excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will need to be happy commuting to the Oxfordshire head office once a month ideally for team meetings and workshops etc.

The Person:

This role would suit someone with a broad skill set who can act as a Technical SME whilst also wearing multiple hats and collaborating with a range of stakeholders. We are looking for the following skills and experience:

Proven experience of working in a Technical Information or Cyber Security Engineering role preferably with a broad remit / in a smaller team
Must have strong hands-on experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 security.
Deep understanding of technical architecture and security aspects of infrastructure / networking, application, web, and cloud technologies.
Technical security qualifications such as AZ-500 or MS-500 would be preferred but are not essential.
Any financial services or similar regulated industry experience is a bonus.
