Systems Administrator/DevOps Engineer - Transform Healthcare!

Reporting to:Head of DevOps and IT

Join our dynamic healthcare start-up and become a crucial part of our IT infrastructure and security team. This opportunity serves as your gateway to a future DevOps role. You will manage and support our IT systems across Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365, secure our IT landscape, handle vendor assessments, and ensure compliance with IT governance.

In just 1-2 years, you'll be prepared to lead in a DevOps role.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. IT Support & Administration: Provide IT support, manage hardware/software/network issues, maintain IT infrastructure, and support onboarding.
  2. Security & Compliance: Ensure IT security, assist with vendor assessments, and respond to cybersecurity threats.
  3. Collaboration & Learning: Learn from the Head of DevOps, support automation and cloud migration projects, and assist with audits.
  4. Future DevOps Development: Gain experience with cloud infrastructure, manage containerized applications, build CI/CD pipelines, and develop automation skills.


What We're Looking For:

  1. Education: Essential - Computer Science degree.
  2. Experience: 3+ years in IT support or systems administration (Windows and macOS).
  3. Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365.
  4. Interest: Passion for cybersecurity and IT governance.
  5. Experience: Some DevOps and cloud platform experience (Azure preferred); scripting skills are a plus.
  6. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
