Role: Systems & Security Engineer
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days onsite)
Type: Contract (6 months)

We are seeking two experienced Systems & Security Engineers for a 6-month contract role based in Edinburgh. This hybrid position requires a strong background in both Linux and Windows environments, as well as experience with system configuration, patching, and third-party software installation (eg, Oracle, NetApp).

Essential Skills:

5+ years in Linux/Windows OS, C, Java, Oracle DB

Strong Scripting (Shell, SQL), log interpretation, debugging

GitHub, ClearCase, TRELLIX proficiency

OS patching, system maintenance, and software updates

Desirable:

Experience installing fixes on live systems

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Familiarity with MS Office and Outlook

Applicants must hold UK or NATO nationality.
