Holt Executive are delighted to be partnered with Marlink to support a critical Senior Sales Manager – UK + Europe hire to support their Maritime Business Unit.

Your Mission

The Senior Sales Manager – UK + Europe, reporting directly to the VP Sales, will be a self-motivated and service driven professional. They will cultivate and maintain long-term senior relationships with clients within the Maritime & Shipping sectors within the region.

Additionally, the role involves setting strategic direction and achieving business sales targets for the Marlink Group. The Senior Sales Manager – UK + Europe will also explore opportunities in regions where other business units have limited visibility and resources, enhancing Marlink’s overall position.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Develop business relations with existing customers and new customers within the Region and Works closely with potential clients to understand their business and identify sales opportunities for the Marlink Group.
Achieve targeted profitable growth in the area, identifying market opportunities and establishing GTM for the region by continuously increase market share and profitable revenue growth.
Responsible for developing a yearly regional sales team business development strategy to support growth initiatives.
Increase Marlink brand awareness and positioning within region
Support further development of the Marlink Product Portfolio, based on customer’s feedback
Persuasive and strong communications skills at all levels of an organization up to C level
Report activities, market needs and trends to VP Sales Europe North
Engage with strategy and marketing groups to understand regional installed base, market dynamics and trends as well as developing market engagement strategies, planning of market and tradeshow events and other associated activities to promote customer understanding of the Marlink Group’s combined solutions.
Responsible for developing a yearly regional sales team business development strategy to support growth initiatives. 
Key Experience and Knowledge required:

Have experience selling Telecommunication, IT Managed Services, Technology or Security solutions.
Solid Understanding of and ability to sell “the Value” around an integrated, managed solution.
Ideally 8-10 years demonstrated and proven record of success in services-based selling.
A proven winner with a long track record of success in selling complex deals.
Having a wide-ranging experience, using modern selling concepts (as-a-Service) and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
