Your impact We have an exciting opportunity tojoin our growing team of Security professionals and work on a rangeof projects for our diverse client portfolio that covers CriticalNational Infrastructure (CNI) industries such as Rail, Aviation,Highways, Water, Energy, Power and Defence. We are focused onbuilding and developing long term and mutually beneficialrelationships with our clients. This role requires experience inCNI, involving the setting and delivering of projects andmaintenance for integrated physical security solutions. We developsolutions that address our client’s critical challenges whensupporting their security objectives. As part of our team, you willprovide support across the full spectrum of security engineeringactivities: design, development, integration, delivery andin-service support of complex technical projects. You will deliversecurity solutions, address risks and support secureinfrastructure. Some key responsibilities include: - Full timeemployment with us is based on 40 hours per week but we willhappily consider reduced or compressed hours that are mutuallybeneficial. - This role is based on a Hybrid basis from the Jacobsoffice in London, Birmingham, Cardiff, York, Leeds, Manchester orWarrington and will require occasional client travel. - We requireyou to have or be able to gain SC level security clearance. -Military experience is welcomed but ideally coupled withpost-Service consultancy based work. Additional keyresponsibilities: - Developing security standards and policy inline with client requirements and industry best practice. - Developsecurity requirements covering the different phases ofconstruction, including but not limited to threat and vulnerabilityrisk assessments, security management plans, asset risk managementand protestor plans for an operational site. - Previous experiencein writing security management plans and scope of works - practicalexperience of security risk / threat assessment approaches and theability to convey the business benefits to ensure business riskowners are empowered to make appropriate and proportionate securitydecisions. - Conduct security reviews and audits, supportaccreditation activities with the client and regulatingauthorities. - Consult on security operations including protectivemonitoring, incident management, incident response and incidentrecovery activities. - Engage with all stakeholders including theemergency services & NPSA - create and chair working groupmeetings with stakeholders. Here's what you'll need: - Degree-levelqualification or an equivalent combination of education andexperience with a strong technical background in physical securityand commissioning integrated systems - additional professionalsecurity qualifications or certifications would be advantageous. -Detailed knowledge of security principles such as crime preventionin depth, design in depth & NPSA (Deter | Detect | Delay |Mitigate | Respond) plus experience in creating and deliveringincident management exercises with an understanding of the JESIPprinciples. - Ability to coordinate planning and implementation ofsecurity projects in complex environments, understanding the designconsiderations with emphasis on operational safety and the securityof operating environments. - Previous experience in CNI sector,involving the setting and delivering of projects and maintenancefor integrated physical security solutions – especially in hostilevehicle mitigation (HVM) and vehicle dynamics assessments.
