Senior Network Engineer – AWS Cloud and On-Prem

London offices + Hybrid working options

Salary up to £80k+ Benefits

Our client’s software products include AI and Automation software used globally by a range of external customers. The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in the implementation and support of their on-prem and cloud-based network infrastructure with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability.


The Senior Network Engineer will support these global customers at a senior level so previous experience in a similar role is essential, but the company offer excellent training and career path opportunities. The role would support their AWS infrastructure, but those without cloud experience with established On-prem / Data Centre troubleshooting backgrounds will also be considered.


The company require 2 days working at their London offices per week.


Core responsibilities:

  • Support and integrate Carrier Grade Networks for a range of external customers
  • Implement Cloud service integrations, Data flows, AWS, Cloud VPN, etc
  • Support and configure firewalls, switches, and routers
  • Test Cloud based network devices, Firewalls, Load Balancer
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external customers


Key requirements:

  • 5+ years’ in a Network Engineering role, preferably in an Engineering environment
  • Extensive background of cloud and on-prem Network support and implementation
  • Experience configuring AWS, VPC endpoints
  • Strong Cisco experience and relevant certifications – CCNA, CCNP or similar
  • Telco; VoIP, SIP Peering and Trunking is desirable
