We are hiring a Senior Dual Fire and Security Engineer to lead Installations & Project Work across our high-profile client in London and surrounding areas.
This is a dynamic and highly responsible role, suitable for a seasoned engineer with a proven track record in fire and security system installations and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead installations of Fire & Security systems across commercial and domestic sites.

  • Take ownership of project delivery from start to finish.

  • Act as lead engineer on site, supervising and mentoring junior engineers.

  • Deliver system upgrades, commissioning, and integration in line with design specifications.

  • Ensure all installations meet required compliance and industry standards.

  • Serve as first point of escalation for technical issues before passing to operations.

    What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in fire & security engineering, with significant project and install work.

  • Proven experience as a Lead Engineer; supervisory background highly desirable

  • Solid working knowledge of:

  • Intruder Alarms: Texecom, Pyronix, Scantronic, EMS

  • Access Control: Paxton (critical), PAC (desired).

  • Door Entry & Video Entry: BPT, Fermax, Videx, Comelit.

  • CCTV: Hikvision, IP & analogue systems.

  • Fire Alarm Systems: Advanced, C-Tec, Kentec, Menvier, Galaxy.

  • Structured cabling, networking, and IP knowledge essential.

  • Valid UK Driving Licence.

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to pass one).

  • Own hand tools (drills provided).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer-facing skills.

  • Willingness to travel to central London daily and work occasional out-of-hours on a rota.

    Qualifications (Required or Preferred):

  • City & Guilds 1853 or EAL Level 3 in Fire & Security.

  • FIA Fire Detection & Alarm Units.

  • BS 5306-3 Certification / FIA Fire Extinguisher Maintenance.

  • Manufacturer training (Texecom, Pyronix, Scantronic, Comelit, Hikvision, etc.).

  • CompTIA Network+, ECS Card, IPAF & PASMA certified (preferred).
